SiloTreat Textile

Description

SiloTreat^® Textile is a unique siloxane-based system designed for hydrophobic and oleophobic treatment of natural textile materials. Due to the increased surface tension, treated fabrics do not absorb water, liquids, and other contaminants deeply.
SiloTreat^® Textile facilitates easy maintenance of treated fabrics while preserving their breathability.

Application method

SiloTreat^® Textile can be applied by spraying or by dipping (soaking from 30 seconds to 10 minutes).
The treated surface should be protected from contact with liquids for at least 4 hours.
The hydrophobic effect manifests a few hours after drying at room temperature as a result of the thin polysiloxane coating formed.
The process can be accelerated by heating the dried fabric with an iron at a temperature between 80 and 150 °C.
